This guide provides a comprehensive step-by-step approach to applying transfers effectively and efficiently, ensuring high-quality results. Follow the instructions closely for the best outcomes.
Ensure your DTF transfer design is ready for application. Make sure it's clean and free of any debris.
Carefully place your DTF transfer design in the desired location on the garment. Ensure proper alignment and placement.
Pre-press the garment for 10 seconds using your heat press machine. This step helps remove excess moisture and wrinkles, ensuring a smooth application surface.
Set your heat press machine to the appropriate temperature and time based on the fabric type you're working with (refer to our suggested settings below). Apply high pressure during pressing for optimal adhesion.
Temperature: 165°C (329°F)
Time: 20 seconds
Pressure: High
Temperature: 140°C (284°F)
Time: 15-20 seconds
Pressure: Medium
Temperature: 135°C (275°F)
Time: 10 seconds
Pressure: Low
Temperature: 150°C (302°F)
Time: 15 - 20 seconds
Pressure: Medium
Temperature: 130°C (266°F)
Time: 10 seconds
Pressure: Low to Medium
Once the pressing is complete, peel the transfer according to its specifications. It can be a hot peel (peeled right away) or a cold peel (peeled when it's cold). Peel carefully to avoid damaging the design or garment.
We Source a Special Transfer Our Transfers can both be peeled hot or cold.

Cold Peel Tips:
For added protection and durability, consider placing a Teflon or transfer sheet over the applied transfer and repressing for a few seconds. This step can enhance the longevity of your design.
